What it does
Silenz monitors the sounds of your surrounding in a smart way; once it detects a significant sound (e.g. human speech), it reacts by pausing or adjusting the volume of media players. The app also allows you to hear surrounding sounds mixed with your music.
Silenz for Mac automatically pauses your music when someone speaks and passes through ambient sound to your headphones. One-time purchase, no subscription.
A smart audio mixer for your Mac — auto-pause on speech, ambient pass-through, volume control, and more. All without removing your headphones. Try Silenz on Setapp — free for 7 days, with 240+ curated Mac apps. Someone speaks — your music fades, their voice comes through. They leave — it picks back up. You never touched a thing. Screen locks? Music pauses. Headphones unplug? Speakers stay silent. Hear your surroundings without taking them off. Enable Ambient Sound to pass-through outside audio directly to your headphones. Silenz listens to your environment so you don't have to. Voices, phone rings, and key events automatically pause or lower your audio. Fine-tune Silenz to match how you…from silenzapp.com
