Simba: App Blocker

What it does

Most app blockers only say “no.” Simba adds a pause before distraction. Block apps and websites with quick focus sessions, reusable schedules, Hard Mode, and app groups. When you try to open something blocked, Simba replaces the generic screen with a friendly cat shield and a reminder in your chosen tone helping you remember why you started. Track focus time, streaks, and blocked attempts to build better habits without guilt.

Simba uses Apple’s Screen Time controls to block distracting apps and websites. When habit takes over, a friendly reminder helps you pause and return to what you meant to do. TikTok is not available right now because of a downtime limit. It tells you what happened, but not why you set the boundary. Choose only the apps and websites that tend to pull you into unplanned use. Everything else stays available. Protect recurring parts of the day, including mornings, work blocks, and bedtime, even when Simba is closed. Give one app a daily allowance.
