Hey guys, I would really appreciate it if you could take a look at my new site that I have put into private beta this weekend. In summary it is a site for photographers, graphic designers and web designers to get private feedback on their work. There are plenty of sites out there were we can post our work and get it seen but sometimes you need to be able to get some feedback before having it on a public display.     A few days ago, I responded to a comment by bloggergirl offering to read anyone's web copy and help. I shot off an email hoping for a paragraph or two of feedback on my startup's copy. Instead I received a professional, detailed deck of tons of invaluable well thought out feedback. It must have taken her an entire afternoon.     Check out http://swrm.io Basically, we created a feedback platform, and launched it as a tool to allow designers to crowdsource feedback from other designers. The idea is that this tool would allow designers to improve, share knowledge, learn new skills, and consistently deliver their best work. There's a lot that still needs to get done, including making money, letting posts die out after a certain time, and making the site faster by generating image thumbnails.     Hi HN, I've had the idea for a scholarly publishing site that could crowdsource the work of the journals using concepts borrowed from Github and StackExchange and recombined for years.
