Proud to announce the product my wonderful coworkers and I have been building over the past 4 years: Spatial (https://www.spatial.io) – a 3D collaborative version of video chat in VR/AR. In Spatial you create a lifelike virtual avatar that gives you a sense of presence you don’t get from webcam feeds. You can also collaborate by drawing, uploading images/videos/3D models, screen sharing your desktop, and more. We’re available today on Oculus Quest (invite required, but we’re not limiting them), HoloLens, and MagicLeap, and also the web via a cloud-rendered spectator.…

Proud to announce the product my wonderful coworkers and I have been building over the past 4 years: Spatial (https://www.spatial.io) – a 3D collaborative version of video chat in VR/AR. In Spatial you create a lifelike virtual avatar that gives you a sense of presence you don’t get from webcam feeds. You can also collaborate by drawing, uploading images/videos/3D models, screen sharing your desktop, and more. We’re available today on Oculus Quest (invite required, but we’re not limiting them), HoloLens, and MagicLeap, and also the web via a cloud-rendered spectator. Coming soon to Android/iOS and the lightweight AR device Nreal. Now that we're all forced to WFH we're hoping we can help people feel more connected and so we're giving away Spatial Pro for free temporarily.     Hi HN, I built Eigendrum, a web tool that solves the 2D wave equation for arbitrary shapes so you can hear what they sound like as drums.
