What it does
SpyBuster is a free anti-spyware tool for macOS that helps to secure user data by detecting apps and websites that originate from or connect to servers in russia and belarus. You can block unwanted connections and make sure your data is safe.
We say goodbye to SpyBuster to make room for more powerful and useful Mac protection.
It was born as a volunteer project that aimed to protect personal data of Ukrainians from russian and belarusian secret services amid the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. Very soon it expanded into an award-winning app and a Chrome extension downloaded by hundreds of thousands of people worldwide. Four years later, we've deepened our cybersecurity efforts through Moonlock, a dedicated Mac protection app, and new security features in CleanMyMac. In many ways, SpyBuster grew into them. Letting it go as a standalone product is how we make room for what it was always trying to become — transparent and relevant cyber protection for you. Hi HN! I made many small web games in the past with Unity or Phaser. But this time I wanted to make something completely on my own. So I coded a basic game framework in plain JavaScript, and used it to make Almost Pong. This was a really fun project that taught me a lot about JavaScript, and I plan to make more minimalist games with this framework. Interesting fact: Almost Pong doesn't load any assets, all sprites and sounds are generated with code. Happy to answer questions, and please let me know if you have any feedback on the game. Thanks!
