spymux – Spy on your tmux panes
I had motivation for writing this after I kept switching back and forth between agents to see if they've finished what they were working on (and I couldn't find a similar tool out there). I'd imagine it can be useful for other scenarios as well, e.g. tracking multiple build/test jobs over multiple windows. Still a work in progress, but I thought I'd share :)
In plain words
Spymux is a tool that monitors tmux panes without requiring manual switching between them. It allows users to track the progress of multiple tasks running in parallel, such as agent processes, build jobs, or test runs across different windows. The tool addresses the need to check on long-running operations without constantly navigating between panes, making it useful for developers managing concurrent workloads in terminal environments.

Hi HN, I built Eigendrum, a web tool that solves the 2D wave equation for arbitrary shapes so you can hear what they sound like as drums. How it works: * Solves -∇²u = λu using finite element analysis (Kφ = λMφ) on a triangle mesh. * Validated to <0.1% error against closed-form solutions for circles (Bessel zeros) and rectangles. * Sound model factors in strike location, Rayleigh damping, and mallet width. * Includes Kac drums I & II to demonstrate identical sound spectra from different geometries. * No frameworks, build steps, or dependencies. Repo and tests:…
