I have been giving the same opinionated PR reviews over the last couple of years. I codified into a series of deterministic linting rules that make AI agents adhere to very strict standards.

Writing code is now much easier than reading and reviewing code. This linter provides 100+ opinionated rules that automatically flag violations. Developers can spend less time in code review and write well-structured, correct code faster. Every repository uses one complete policy, including all 41 library policies. There is no standard/application selection. Legacy profile fields and preset filenames are compatibility aliases for the same policy; new manifests omit the profile field. Warning-stage rules keep their reviewed severity. Architectural rules that need repository-specific boundaries still require those explicit options. I made OwnTime to balance between competing priorities in my life. The idea is based on two main influences: the concept of "roles" from "The 5 Choices" (2015), and my repeated failure to effectively implement time blocking due to the necessary flexibility in my role. The app allows you to define time budgets, which are not much more than a few mutually exclusive countdown timers.
