Stash — Send Files, Unlimited

I built Stash because I was tired of the usual tradeoff in file sharing: either force recipients to create accounts or give up on privacy. How it works 1. Upload from the iOS, iPad or Mac app 2. Get a shareable link 3. Recipients download in the browser, no app, no account, nothing to install Encryption model Files are encrypted on device using AES 256 GCM before upload. The encryption key lives only in the URL fragment (after #), which browsers never send to servers. Even if the link is intercepted in transit, the file cannot be decrypted without the fragment. The server never sees…

What it does

Stash makes secure file sharing dead simple. Every file is encrypted on your device before upload—the encryption key lives only in your share link, not on any server. Recipients don't need the app or an account. ✨ Unlimited cloud storage—no tier upgrades needed ✨ No file size limits—send gigabytes without compression ✨ Works on iPhone, iPad, and Mac with automatic sync ✨ Links never expire until you delete them Perfect for sharing large videos, full-resolution photos, or files with clients.

Share files securely with end-to-end encryption. Send large videos, photos, and documents from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. No file size limits, no account required for recipients.

The simplest way to share files securely from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. End-to-end encrypted, no size limits, no account for recipients. Files are encrypted on your device before upload. The key stays in the link, never on our servers. No file size limits, no link expiration. Share a 10 MB doc or a 10 GB video the same way. Recipients just open a link in their browser. No account, no app, no friction. Looking beyond WeTransfer's 2GB limit and Dropbox's storage caps? Here are the best alternatives for sharing large files without restrictions. Why browser-based file downloads outperform app-dependent solutions for recipients, and how platform-agnostic sharing solves compatibility headaches.…from stash-app.xyz

Stasher is a tiny CLI tool that lets you share encrypted secrets that burn after reading — no accounts, no logins, no servers to trust. I built it because I just wanted to share a password. Not spin up infra. Not register for some "secure" web app. Not trust Slack threads. Just send a secret. Secrets are encrypted client-side with AES-256-GCM. You get a `uuid:key` token to share. Once someone reads it, it's gone. If they don't read it in 10 minutes, it expires and deleted. Everything is verifiable. Every release is signed, SLSA-attested, SBOM-included, and logged in the Rekor transparency…

    64.surf – share files using only the URL2024 · 64.surf · ▲16

Hey HN, I built this to scratch an itch I had around what can be done solely using the URL. It's very minimal with no storage involved, and your files can even be encrypted. The only caveat is some platforms wont allow you to post long links. I thought about using a URL shortener, but storing and mapping URLs kind of defeats the purpose. However most browsers do allow you to open them once you have them. For instance I was able to "share" a 10MB file using safari, however 350KB seems to be the max for Chrome.

Hey HN! I wanted to share something I built over the last few weeks: isometric.nyc is a massive isometric pixel art map of NYC, built with nano banana and coding agents. I didn't write a single line of code. Of course no-code doesn't mean no-engineering. This project took a lot more manual labor than I'd hoped! I wrote a deep dive on the workflow and some thoughts about the future of AI coding and creativity: http://cannoneyed.com/projects/isometric-nyc
