Stride
The AI workspace that plans, designs and ships with you.
What it does
Stride is the AI-native workspace for the whole build: plan, design, verify, and ship. Its AI works inside your real project data and plugs into Claude Code and Codex over MCP, so it does the work instead of just talking about it. Your team goes from idea to launch without switching tools.
Stride runs your delivery cycle in one place: plan sprints, design architecture, run tests, and ship releases. The AI works from your project context.
Product, design, engineering and QA work from one connected graph of stories, decisions, diagrams, processes and tests. Stride AI and your coding agents read and update that same record. Every tab is live: the board, the dashboard, the Agent, all of it. Product writes the story, design records the decision elsewhere, engineering reconstructs the context, and QA rebuilds it again as tests. Every handoff creates another version of the same product, so status drifts and AI sees only the fragment in front of it. A product ask, design decision, architecture diagram, process step, test and defect remain linked as one delivery record. Product, design, engineering and QA work in the UI; Claude…from stride.page

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.

Hey HN, Henry from Cactus here! We previously released Cactus Needle, a 14MB agentic LLM for tool call, device use, and structured extraction for phones, wearables, smart homes, small robots and microcontrollers. We got really great feedback here, and have now incorporated the suggestions to release Needle 2. The whole model is a single 14MB binary that runs a full session in 28MB of RAM; 45m parameters at 2bit compression. Needle hits 500 tokens/sec decode speed on a Raspberry Pi 5, sits between 400-1,500 tokens/sec on VR devices like Meta Quest 3S and Apple Vision Pro, and ranges…

- H6Homebrew 6.0.0▲1,481
Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!
