SubFex

Be the answer buyers find on Reddit, Google, and ChatGPT.

What it does

SubFex finds the Reddit threads where buyers are asking for what you sell, then drafts a reply in your voice. You read it, edit if needed, and post it yourself. Founders, marketing teams, and agencies who know their buyers are on Reddit but don't have hours to scroll for the right threads. SubFex never connects to your Reddit account and never auto-posts. You copy, paste, and post from your own account like a normal Redditor.

Find the Reddit threads where buyers ask for what you sell. Subfex drafts a reply in your voice that you approve, then keeps working in Google and AI search.

Subfex finds the threads where buyers are already asking and drafts an honest reply in your voice. Nothing posts until you say so. Before they buy, people ask Reddit for honest recommendations. Those threads outrank your own site and feed the AI answers your buyers read. Finding the right threads by hand takes hours, and a tone-deaf reply gets you downvoted or banned . So the recommendation goes to whoever showed up. That answer keeps ranking on Google and keeps getting quoted back by AI assistants, months after the thread went quiet. A Reddit-native answer is not a disposable comment. It earns its keep on three surfaces at once. Someone with a real problem gets a useful answer in your…from subfex.com

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
