SVG Stroke Studio
Turn your SVG logos/icons into hand-drawn animations
What it does
A single-purpose tool that does one thing well instead of a motion suite you rent forever. You upload your SVG, trace the path a pen would take across your logo/icon. That stroke becomes a mask, and your artwork is revealed as it draws. Per-stroke width, order and pauses defined, then export animated SVG, MP4, WebM or GIF. No account, no sign-in, your artwork is never stored. Free to use and preview. $3.50 once per project to export. No subscription.
Upload an SVG logo, trace the path a pen would take to draw it, and export a self-drawing animated SVG, MP4, WebM or GIF. Runs entirely in your browser, with no account.

Clearing site data or switching browser loses them, so keep a backup of anything you care about. A logo, wordmark or icon. It is read in the browser and sanitised; nothing is sent to a server. Draw the centreline of each stroke in the order they would be drawn, set how wide each one reveals, and add pauses where the pen lifts. An animated SVG…from virtueapps.dev

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
