Sweep – AI-Powered Junior Developer for Tech Debt
Hi HN, we recently built and open sourced Sweep, an AI powered junior developer. Kevin, Luke, and I were tired of handling tech debt when we knew LLMs could do this for us. Sweep solves small features, bugs, and missing documentation by writing pull requests. This allows you to review and validate the code before pushing it to your codebase. Features: - Turns issue descriptions directly into pull requests (without an IDE) - Addresses developer replies & comments - Fixes the code based on failing tests & linters from GitHub Actions Examples: https://docs.sweep.dev/examples…
Sweep – AI-Powered Junior Developer for Tech Debt launched on July 20, 2023 with 7 votes, #1,751 of 4,347 launches that month and more than 50% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 3 years on.

Sweep, Open-weights 1.5B model for next-edit autocompleteJan 2026 · huggingface.co · ▲534Hey HN, we trained and open-sourced a 1.5B model that predicts your next edits, similar to Cursor. You can download the weights here (https://huggingface.co/sweepai/sweep-next-edit-1.5b) or try it in our JetBrains plugin (https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/26860-sweep-ai-autocomp...). Next-edit autocomplete differs from standard autocomplete by using your recent edits as context when predicting completions. The model is small enough to run locally while outperforming models 4x its size on both speed and accuracy. We tested against Mercury…

We built an AI to review your pull requests2025 · infinitcode.ai · ▲53Hey HN, We’re two developers (co-founders) with a team of 20 who got tired of spending hours reviewing PRs, so we built Infinitcode.ai, an AI-powered code reviewer that: - *Summarizes PRs in plain English*: No more deciphering 1,000-line diff jungles - *Catches more than bugs*: Security holes, performance pitfalls, code smells, even typos (yes, we’ll flag “vurnerabilities” and vulnerabilities) - *Zero onboarding*: Works instantly—no “let me learn your codebase for weeks” nonsense. Why we’re posting: We’re in alpha and need brutal honesty. Roast our tool, mock our UI, or tell us why AI will…
BatonApr 2026 · getbaton.dev · ▲106Hi, I built this because running multiple Claude Code agents across multiple IDE and terminal windows was getting messy. Like many, I went from working at one thing at the time, to multiple, and it was all changing quite fast. I needed one place to see all my agents and worktrees, seamlessly switch between them, monitor their status and once their done, review their changes. I also wanted to quickly spin up new agents in isolated worktrees whenever an idea came to mind. I've been building Baton from within Baton for a while now, which has been a pretty fun loop. Would love to hear what you…

I saw this [0] pretty cool thread by user revskill, and wanted a quicker way to search through it, but also to keep them all in one place so I can read them at my leisure whenever I get time. Right now is like 60 lines of Ruby using Nokogiri, but I will certainly look into it further down the line and improve the list. There's a cronjob checking the thread every 12 hours but I will eventually shut that down and it will become static after that. There are some really awesome blogs in there. I really recommend going through the list, it made my day. [0] "Could you share your personal blog…
