Syllabi launched on May 25, 2026 with 2 votes, #6,288 of 20,538 launches that month.
What it does
Syllabi is an easier way to create and share structured courses with AI. Start with an idea, audience, or repeated learner questions, then turn scattered expertise into editable modules, lessons, exercises, and a clear learning path. Built for educators, coaches, creators, and training teams who want course structure without wrestling with complex tools.
Turn ideas, notes, skills, and weirdly specific interests into complete learning paths — modules, lessons, quizzes, exports, and shareable links.
Syllabi turns ideas, notes, skills, and weirdly specific interests into complete learning paths — modules, lessons, quizzes, exports. Type your topic, tune the details, and generate a complete course built around your idea. Pick any topic — silly, useful, professional, academic, or weirdly specific — and turn it into a course. Start with 10,000 free Credits. Buy more Credits only when you need them. No plans, no subscriptions. Answer four quick feedback prompts so we can make course generation sharper, faster, and less cursed. Want more Credits? Send Syllabi to a friend from yourfrom syllabi.online

Hey HN, Henry here from Cactus. We open-sourced Needle, a 26M parameter function-calling (tool use) model. It runs at 6000 tok/s prefill and 1200 tok/s decode on consumer devices. We were always frustrated by the little effort made towards building agentic models that run on budget phones, so we conducted investigations that led to an observation: agentic experiences are built upon tool calling, and massive models are overkill for it. Tool calling is fundamentally retrieval-and-assembly (match query to tool name, extract argument values, emit JSON), not reasoning. Cross-attention…
