TabShot

Capture, annotate and blur, without leaving your browser.

TabShot launched on August 17, 2026 with 2 votes, #5,788 of 23,274 launches that month.

What it does

TabShot captures the entire scrollable web page - or every open tab at once - then crops, annotates and blurs it before saving. Your screenshots never leave your device. Free core, Pro from $3.

TabShot captures the entire scrollable web page - or every tab in your window at once - then lets you crop, annotate and blur it in a built-in editor before saving. Your images never leave your device. Most screenshot tools stop at a single visible screen. TabShot captures the whole thing, keeps it on your device, and never asks you to sign in. Scrolls and stitches the entire page, top to bottom, into one clean image. No manual scrolling, no cropping. Batch mode captures the tabs you pick and bundles them into a ZIP, or lays them side by side in one image. Pick lossless PNG for crisp text, or JPEG with an adjustable quality slider for smaller files. Automatically hides fixed and sticky bars…from tabshot.tungakaan.com

You can send all the media to process in the cloud, but it’s slow, expensive and raises privacy concerns. So we decided to build our own on-device media search engine. How it works (high level): 1. We ingest video, audio, image; normalize formats via ffmpeg; run content analysis to…

  • Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…
