TailorSwan
AI resume builder using job description, no fabrication.
What it does
Job hunting means rewriting your resume for every posting, then hoping it doesn't disappear into a black hole after you hit submit. TailorSwan handles both. It reads the job description, tailors your resume block-by-block, and keeps it ATS-friendly, no fabricated experience. It also finds the actual hiring manager so you can follow up directly, drafts a cover letter, and exports everything as a polished Word or PDF. Job listing to submitted, tailored application in minutes, not hours.
Paste a job posting, rewrite your resume to fit it, export a PDF, and track the application.
Paste the job. We rewrite each section of your resume against it. You review the changes, export a PDF or Word file, and track the application in one list. Resume editing, a cover letter draft, contact lookup, and a simple application list. Paste a job posting. We rewrite each section against it. You approve, skip, or redo every block before anything is saved. When we can find hiring managers, recruiters, or teammates, we show a confidence score next to each email. That score is not a guarantee the address works. Work one section at a time. Keep the wording that sounds like you. Reuse a block on the next application if it still fits. Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
