What it does

Tamagui Takeout is our best attempt at putting together everything you need to launch your app fast leveraging Next.js, Expo, Supabase, and Tamagui. Screens like onboarding, auth, account, settings, profile. Themes, icons, fonts, helpers, and much more.

Ship apps everywhere - iOS, Android, and web with one codebase

Takeout makes React Native + web as well-structured, fast, and simple as possible, and funds the OSS development of Tamagui. We've spent two years building a whole new stack + starter. Pro includes the last starter, and a "lite" one too! Vibe coding works best when you're building on a solid base. Takeout combines three libraries that solve the hardest problems in cross-platform development, with a ton of AI agent harnessing. The best universal style system. A smart optimizing compiler unlocks write once, run everywhere styles with platform-native performance, and a ton of components. Vite-powered universal React framework. Typed file-based routing, loaders, SSR, SSG, SPA and API routes.…from tamagui.dev

Hey HN, I'm Nate, the creator of Tamagui. One is a React framework that does two things differently in hopes of simplifying how we build websites and apps: 1. It unifies React Native and React web with typed file system routing by making Vite able to serve RN. This lets you share (or diverge) your code in a simpler way for cross-platform apps. 2. We've partnered with Zero (https://zerosync.dev) to make local-first work well. We've been building a solution in One that makes Zero supporting server rendering, without waterfalls, and with seamless server/client handoff. ---…

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

I saw this [0] pretty cool thread by user revskill, and wanted a quicker way to search through it, but also to keep them all in one place so I can read them at my leisure whenever I get time. Right now is like 60 lines of Ruby using Nokogiri, but I will certainly look into it further down the line and improve the list. There's a cronjob checking the thread every 12 hours but I will eventually shut that down and it will become static after that. There are some really awesome blogs in there. I really recommend going through the list, it made my day. [0] "Could you share your personal blog…
