What it does
TapOkie Work is lone worker safety for small teams — without a call centre or long contract. Workers tap Start Visit on arrival and End Visit when they leave. If checkout is missed or SOS, managers get email and browser push (location when captured). Escalation notifies a backup if nobody acknowledges. Built for care visits, estate viewings, charity outreach, and field engineers. From $5/worker/month, cancel anytime, setup in minutes. 10-minute warning before alerts fire cuts false alarms.
Monitor lone workers with automated check-ins, live dashboards, SOS alerts, and escalation workflows — no ARC required. From $5/worker/month.
One tap tells you a worker is OK. If they miss it, you're alerted — and every check-in is logged. Know your team is safe without the overhead. Add workers, they check in per visit, and you're alerted if something's missed. Add workers by name and email — they get login details automatically. Start Visit on arrival, End Visit when done — or SOS if they need help. See every active visit on one screen, with the most urgent workers on top. Email and web push for missed check-outs and SOS — even off the dashboard. Workers raise SOS from the app; managers are notified immediately. If you miss an alert, escalation notifies your backup automatically. Export PDF, CSV, or Excel anytime — or schedule…from work.tapokie.com

Clipto MCP▲655Hey HN, We recently built Clipto. It’s a tool that lets you search over terabytes of video, audio, and images on your computer, without relying on the cloud. Motivation: we probably all had this similar experience, we know a moment exists in a video or audio, but finding it takes hours scrubbing the timeline. You can send all the media to process in the cloud, but it’s slow, expensive and raises privacy concerns. So we decided to build our own on-device media search engine. How it works (high level): 1. We ingest video, audio, image; normalize formats via ffmpeg; run content analysis to…

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…
