What it does
Tarsnap is a command-line backup tool for UNIX with client-side encryption and block-level deduplication. Pay per byte stored, no monthly minimums. Runs on Linux, BSD, and macOS.
Cygwin and the Windows Subsystem for Linux are also supported. There are no other fees — Tarsnap has no fixed costs or minimum monthly fees.
