Tempo Focus
Pomodoro timer, task tracker, and app blocker for iPhone
What it does
Tempo Focus turns your iPhone into a personal focus system designed to sit on your desk while you work. Connect tasks from Linear and Apple Reminders to focus sessions and track how much focused time you spend on each one, without replacing the tools you already trust. Pomodoro and open-ended timers, App Blocker, labels, history, and insights help you protect your attention and understand where it went.
A personal focus system for iPhone with a Pomodoro timer, focus timer, app blocker, time tracking, and insights that show where your attention went.
Start a Pomodoro session with distracting apps out of reach, stay present with your work, and see where your focused time went. Tempo keeps the context close, puts distracting apps out of reach, and leaves the session visible on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. App Blocker keeps the apps you choose out of reach while your focus session is running. Follow the timer, label, and cycle from your Lock Screen or Dynamic Island with Live Activities. Review your focused time across days, weeks, months, and years. Understand what received your attention, then adjust the record when the day unfolds differently. Choose what you are focusing on, switch tasks without leaving the timer, and see how…from tempofocus.app

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
