Textual Web – turn TUIs in to web apps
Hi HN, This project is designed to take a TUI built with Textual, and turn it in to a web application. It can also do something similar with your shell or other terminal app. You could serve "htop" for example. There are other projects which do something similar. Textual Web takes a different approach, in that it doesn't need to run as a server. It should work as long as you can make an outgoing tcp/ip connection. I plan to expose more of the web API to Textual apps. The goal is to have a system to quickly create and deploy UIs with Python. These aren't going to replace web applications…
What it does

These aren't going to replace web applications any time soon, they are more for backends / dashboards / industrial use cases. Details on the repo. I'll be around to answer questions.

- GRGoatee – Redis, WebSocket notifications in Go2014 · github.com · ▲40
Hey guys and gals! I'm learning Go at the moment and LOVING it. I was hoping to get constructive feedback on a project I'm working on - goatee - which is a notification server that utilizes Redis pub/sub and WebSockets. It's fairly bare-bones at the moment but I'm hoping to add in a lot more features as time goes on such as queueing and WebSocket channel subscriptions (via Go Socketio possibly).
