The CSV Pro
20 free CSV and Excel tools. Files never leave your browser
What it does
Every CSV converter online makes you upload your file to a server. Fine for a grocery list, less fine for a customer export. The CSV Pro runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored. 20 tools: CSV to JSON, Excel, SQL, XML, Markdown. Excel to CSV, JSON, SQL, HTML. Plus a viewer with search and sort, split, merge, dedupe and a delimiter converter. No account, no limits, no watermark.
Convert, view, split, merge, and clean CSV files free. CSV to JSON, Excel, SQL, Markdown and more. 100% browser-based: your data never leaves your device.
Convert, view, split, merge, and clean spreadsheet data with tools that run entirely on your device. No uploads, no accounts, no “free trial”. Just the fix. → 3 rows parsed. Quoted commas handled. → Nothing uploaded. Ever. 20 fast fixes for the files everyone exports and nobody enjoys. Each one runs locally in your browser with proper CSV parsing underneath: quoted fields, embedded commas, and weird encodings included. These tools are JavaScript running on your machine. There is no server to upload to, which means no retention policy to trust. Disconnect from the internet and they keep working. Quoted fields, commas inside cells, line breaks inside quotes, BOMs, semicolon files from…from thecsv.pro

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
