Ticket Mill

Project management for your AI coding agent.

What it does

A local-first ticket manager for macOS. Your AI reads tickets, ships work, and updates status, all with a local MCP. Custom skill "/mill" turns your agent into an autonomous engineer. Say /mill, and your agent runs a five-phase loop against your Ticket Mill backlog then schedules the next cycle and goes again. Tickets are the guardrails: nothing gets abandoned mid-flight, no infinite loops, every decision is logged for the next cycle. You can come back hours later to a backlog that’s moved.

    I replaced Beads with a faster, simpler Markdown-based task trackerJan 2026 · github.com · ▲84

I've been running long duration coding agents with Claude Code for about 6 months now. Steve Yegge released Beads back in October and I found that giving Claude tools for proper task tracking was a massive unlock. But Beads grew massively in a short time and every release made it slower and more frustrating to use. I started battling it several times a week as its background daemon took to syncing the wrong things at the wrong times. Over the holidays I finally ripped it out and wrote ticket as a replacement. It keeps the core concept I actually cared about (graph-based task dependencies)…

With social media and now AI, its important to keep the indie web alive. There are many people who write frequently. Blogosphere tries to highlight them by fetching the recent posts from personal blogs across many categories. There are two versions: Minimal (HN-inspired, fast, static): https://text.blogosphere.app/ Non-minimal: https://blogosphere.app/ If you don't find your blog (or your favorite ones), please add them. I will review and approve it.
