TokenPath – token-level citations for LLM output, read from attention
One API to ground every generated token in its source — for output from any model. TokenPath measures attention directly, not the LLM's self-report, to return machine-readable, token-level citations your product can act on.
TokenPath – token-level citations for LLM output, read from attention launched on July 21, 2026 with 5 votes, #4,557 of 24,623 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches.
What it does
Most citations hand the reader a 40-page document. TokenPath hands them the exact sentence. Send the document, the question, and the answer. You get back a list of attributions: each attribution is an answer span, the corresponding document span, and how confident the match is — enough to highlight it, cite it, or log it in a few lines. For the advanced raw token-by-token map, use /v1/attributions/heatmap . Rate limits, usage metering, and key management come with the platform. # one call — TokenPath finds the phrases worth sourcing curl https://api.tokenpath.ai/v1/attributions \ -H "Authorization: Bearer $TOKENPATH_API_KEY" \ -d ' { "document": "In Q3, Northwind's revenue grew 18%…",…from tokenpath.ai

Token price calculator for 400+ LLMs2024 · github.com · ▲268Hey HN! Tokencost is a utility library for estimating LLM costs. There are hundreds of different models now, and they all have their own pricing schemes. It’s difficult to keep up with the pricing changes, and it’s even more difficult to estimate how much your prompts and completions will cost until you see the bill. Tokencost works by counting the number of tokens in prompt and completion messages and multiplying that number by the corresponding model cost. Under the hood, it’s really just a simple cost dictionary and some utility functions for getting the prices right. It also accounts for…

- ATA tool to benchmark LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, local/self-hosted)2025 · llmapitest.com · ▲55
I recently built a small open-source tool to benchmark different LLM API endpoints — including OpenAI, Claude, and self-hosted models (like llama.cpp). It runs a configurable number of test requests and reports two key metrics: • First-token latency (ms): How long it takes for the first token to appear • Output speed (tokens/sec): Overall output fluency Demo: https://llmapitest.com/ Code: https://github.com/qjr87/llm-api-test The goal is to provide a simple, visual, and reproducible way to evaluate performance across different LLM providers, including…
Context Compass2025 · chromewebstore.google.com · ▲16I built a small Chrome extension for people who write long conversations in Claude and don’t want to unexpectedly hit the 200,000-token limit. Context Compass automatically counts words and estimates token usage as you write. It updates in real time, gives you a visible percentage bar, and helps power users manage sprawling chats without losing work or flow. I built it because I kept getting the “max context” error and realized there was no way to track usage in Claude. No signups, no tracking, just a simple install. Would love any feedback or ideas for improvements. Thanks!

I might be the only SRE on Earth with his own bowling center. It's a more in-depth gig than you'd think. My family and I bought an abandoned 8-lane bowling center in the rural mid-west. In our small town there weren't many recreation options for families. You've heard of a food desert? This is an R&R desert. It had been abandoned for a good reason. The roof leaks, the electrical system was constantly surging, and my 70-year-old bowling equipment (still) doesn't work perfectly. The system that keeps your score is particularly interesting to me. It's the thing you watch during your game, but…

Over the past few months, our team has been building more and more slidedecks using web frontend technologies with coding harnesses like Claude Code, but a common complaint is to make even small edits we need to edit the code either manually or via the harness. To avoid this loop, I ended up creating Bento, a single HTML file with everything you need in a slide tool including animations and shared editing. There's no install or cloud login, everything works offline. The default deck is around 560 KB and it doesn't need to fetch anything once you got it. Open it in a browser and then you can…

A few days ago I found myself trying out GLM 5.2 and was really positively impressed. The capabilities and security I was getting from this LLM are similar to those I've gotten from models like Claude or GPT, and this really surprised me. But then I thought, "I wonder how it would work on a normal computer like mine," and above all, "I wonder if it would work without going into OOM on a computer like mine." So I started working with the help of agents to test this possibility. I started converting the model to int4, understanding MTP usage, and if possible implementing DSA for long context.…

OpenSEO▲928Hello! For the last 2 months, I've been building OpenSEO. It's a user friendly UI wrapping the DataForSEO API which has high quality SEO data for keywords, backlinks, AI SEO and competitor research. Instead of paying $100+ per month, you buy DataForSEO credits and pay only for usage. The coolest thing about the project so far has been hearing about what people are building on top of it. People are using coding agents to quickly integrate with Google Search Console, Google Ads and building their own AI SEO and reporting features. Many were already building their own custom solutions around…
