What it does
Topic Today helps you learn languages by reading one short, level-appropriate story each day. Instead of memorising isolated words or forcing long study sessions, you build intuition through repeated exposure to real language in context. It is free on Android, built for busy people, and designed to make language learning something you can actually keep doing.

ToTo: Topic Today is a free daily language learning app that delivers one short reading story per day, calibrated to the learner's CEFR level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, or C2). It supports Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Romanian, Swedish, and English. Each story is written so learners understand approximately 95% of the words — the lexical coverage threshold that research identifies as optimal for vocabulary acquisition through extensive reading (Schmitt, Jiang & Grabe, 2011). ToTo takes 3 to 5 minutes per day. It is free on Android via Google Play.
