Tracker 212
No more spreadsheets — the Trading212 portfolio tracker app
What it does
Every Trading 212 investor ends up with the same spreadsheet: what did I actually make, after fees, dividends and FX? Tracker 212 builds it for you. Connect a read-only API key or import your CSV exports, and it rebuilds every buy, sell, dividend and fee into lifetime P&L on open and closed positions — plus a per-holding fee breakdown, benchmark comparison and a time machine for any date. One database on your device. No account, no backend. Unofficial — not affiliated with Trading 212.
See your true lifetime profit & loss for Trading 212, built from every trade, dividend and fee. Open positions as a heat map, any past date rebuilt, on your device.
A split rescales the shares you held on the day it happened and leaves every money figure exactly as it was — so a ten-for-one never shows a holding at a tenth of its value. GBP, USD, EUR — every transaction converted at the rate on the day it happened, not today’s. Every payment on the record — dividends and interest, counted separately from your gains, lifetime. Reads the export formats as they come, including a pie’s many small fills, which are put back together into the trade you actually placed. No. Tracker 212 is an independent, unofficial app — not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Trading 212. It only reads data you provide yourself: your CSV exports, or a read-only API…from tracker212.com

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
