TradeKinetics

Trading journal with prop firm evaluation tracking

What it does

TradeKinetics is a trading journal for active and prop-firm traders. Connect your broker (read-only, via SnapTrade) or log trades manually, then see exactly how you trade — win rate, profit factor, and TiltScore behavioral tracking (revenge trading, oversized positions, no stop-loss, etc). Prop Firm Mode tracks your daily loss limit, max drawdown, profit target, and consistency rule automatically against your real trades, so you always know exactly where your evaluation stands. Free to start

Every journal shows you what you traded. TradeKinetics shows you why — TiltScore turns your trading discipline into a streak worth protecting, live.

TiltScore keeps your discipline honest. Full analytics show your edge. Prop Firm Mode tracks your evaluation. AI Insights finds the pattern first. It sits between you and the entry you'd only take on autopilot. Iron Condor, Vertical Spread, Straddle, Strangle — auto-detected. Set your rules once — every trade updates where you stand, automatically. Not a generic market chatbot — grounded in your actual trades and TiltScore patterns, whether you ask or not. Reflects your past trading data only — not financial advice. Real brokerage connections and real trading data mean security isn't optional — here's what's actually built in, not just promised. AES-256 at rest, TLS in transit — every…from tradekinetics.net

    I built a tool to find trading signals that aren't just random luckSep 2025 · hikaro.app · ▲9

Hi HN, I'm a solo dev and for the last few months I've been building Hikaro, a tool to find statistically significant trading signals for [e.g., US equities, crypto, forex]. I built this to solve my own problem: I was tired of backtests that looked great on paper but failed in practice. Simple metrics like "win rate" can be misleading, so I wanted a way to quickly tell if a signal's performance was genuine or just noise. Hikaro ingests daily market data and runs statistical analysis on various trading signals. The goal is to surface signals with strong properties, like: Low p-value: Evidence…

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
