Translate PRO

Copy any text twice. Get instant translation on your Mac.

Translate PRO launched on March 3, 2026 with 84 votes, #576 of 23,380 launches that month and more than 95% of that year's launches.

What it does

Copy, open a translator, paste, read, go back. Same loop every time. Translate Pro removes it entirely. Select any text and press ⌘C twice. A translation window appears instantly. Works in every app on your Mac. Open unlimited windows side by side. Appears on whichever screen you copy from. Pops over fullscreen apps. Flick to a corner, it snaps. Pin across all desktops. Dictate with your voice, listen to translations. 240+ languages. Free on the Mac App Store.

Hello ! David from Spain here :) I built TransLite because I was tired of breaking my flow every time I needed to translate something before sending it. The usual workflow was: copy → open a browser tab → paste → translate → copy again → paste back. I've created a small macOS menubar app that lets you translate the current clipboard instantly using a keyboard shortcut, in any app. It works locally and supports using your own OpenAI / Claude API key. It’s intentionally simple — no accounts, no tracking, no subscriptions. Happy to answer any questions. Best regards, David
