What it does
Codex working across 5 worktrees? Treebar shows you where it is, what’s changing, and how many agents are working, all from your MacBook notch. Treebar watches Git and Codex, to see where and what it's working on. Made this months ago because I kept losing track of where Codex was working. Finally decided to ship it. I’m also open sourcing the core soon.

Treebar sorts your Codex and Claude Code agents by what needs you. Open a run to see what changed and what happened, then jump to its folder or Terminal. Runs that finished or stopped, waiting for you to take a look. A short card drops from the notch when one lands. Agents writing or exploring right now, with live line totals, file counts and helpers. I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations.
