Trump Signal Index

A VIX for Trump — real-time market disruption score

What it does

Trump moves markets daily — but tracking his signals means parsing endless news feeds manually. Trump Signal Index fixes that with a single 0–100 disruption score, updated every 30 minutes. It translates event sentiment, impact scoring, and DJT stock movement into one real-time metric. High score = high volatility risk. Features: • Live Signal Feed sorted by impact • 30-Day Chart vs S&P 500 • Sector Radar for hard-hit industries • Daily Analysis deep dives

Real-time index scoring Trump's tariff announcements, trade war escalations, and executive orders — and their impact on global financial markets. Updated every 30 minutes.

U.S. representatives linked to former President Trump met Russian President Putin in Moscow to discuss ending the Ukraine conflict. The diplomatic engagement could reduce geopolitical risk and support market stability. Cutting the aid program may raise concerns about U.S. commitment to global health, potentially affecting emerging‑market sentiment and foreign‑aid‑related equities. The decision adds moderate geopolitical risk to markets. Europe is considering a Norwegian gas plant to reduce reliance on energy supplies that could be jeopardized by Trump’s policies. The project underscores geopolitical tension and may shift energy market dynamics. Lara Trump highlighted ongoing uncertainty in…from trumpindex.workoffy.com

Hey HN, I built TrumpPosted to track the potential financial market impact of Donald Trump's social media posts in near real-time. It works by: Scraping his posts almost immediately. Sending the post content + metadata to an AI (Llama 3.3 70b via Groq) for analysis against specific financial subjects (stocks, bonds, crypto, or user-defined like 'Tesla stock'). The AI generates a headline, market sentiment score (0-100), summary, attitude analysis, and detailed commentary. Subscribers get email alerts within ~30 seconds containing this analysis tailored to their chosen subject. All analyses…

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
