What it does
Turn photos into oscillating wave animations! Just upload a picture, then drag the sliders to adjust the waves that are used to manipulate the image You can control the sine wave frequency and amplitude in both X/Y directions. You can create a video export to save and/or share your animation afterwards. This project was inspired by analog oscilloscope art. I've long been a fan of wavy liquid patterns, and wanted to try my hand at coding a digital version. This tool is completely free, open source, without any paywalls or premium options. You are welcome to use it for personal or commercial purposes. If you found this tool useful, feel free to buy me a coffee. This would be much appreciated…from collidingscopes.github.io

Many years ago, I made VJ softwares (to mix live visuals in clubs) for unexpected platforms like the Game Boy Advance, the Playstation 2 and the Raspberry Pi. This year, I’m back with a new web-app: Pikimov. Inspired by Photopea (a free Photoshop clone), I created this web-based motion design & video editor as an alternative to After Effects, to fill empty void. It's free, without signup, without cloud uploads (your files stay on your machine), and your projects are not used for AI models training.
