ULINK DA Drive Analyzer
AI-powered drive health monitoring for HDDs & SSDs
What it does
DA Drive Analyzer is an AI-powered HDD and SSD health monitoring solution developed by ULINK Technology. Available for Windows PC, macOS, ASUSTOR NAS, and QNAP NAS, it analyzes drive health data to detect early signs of degradation and predict potential drive failures. The platform provides AI-based alerts, threshold-based alerts, detailed health metrics, DA Portal access, and an offline-only mode for privacy-focused or restricted environments.
Check SSD and HDD health with ULINK DA AI-powered drive health checker tool. Run disk diagnostics, detect failures early, and protect your data today.
All HDDs and SSDs have a limited lifespan. Industry studies show that while drive failures are inevitable, they're also predictable. Traditional monitoring tools only report what's already broken. By the time you notice problems, your data is at risk. Traditional drive monitoring tools rely on individual S.M.A.R.T. health metrics crossing predefined thresholds. This approach (of relying on SMART trips) provides a median warning time of 3 days, which may not be enough time for users to run a proper hard disk drive health check or protect their data. DA Drive Analyzer uses AI to analyze multiple drive health signals simultaneously over time, functioning as an advanced drive health checker and…from ulink-da.com

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
