Uncluttr - Clean up your tabs

Since I started working in tech I constantly found myself with literally 100+ tabs open and not enough will power to organize (or close) them Any tab manager I found required me to do extra steps to an, admittedly, already easy process that I still wasn't doing So I decided on building my own thing, and making a product out of it. It's a Chrome based extension and does a couple of things: - automatically hides tabs from your tab bar but keeps them open in a vertical one - deduplicates tabs - automatically moves new tabs in groups - and ofc, has an AI to organize them in groups based on on…

What it does

You have too many tabs open right now. You know it, your RAM knows it, your fan knows it. Uncluttr replaces the tab bar with a vertical sidebar and uses AI to group your tabs automatically, by project, topic or domain. Inactive tabs get suspended to free memory. Everything persists during crashes and restarts.

Auto-organize your browser tabs with AI grouping and a vertical sidebar. Free Chrome extension, works with Edge, Brave, and all Chromium browsers.

A sidebar-first tab manager that organizes, cleans and remembers your tabs, so you can focus on your work. Unreadable titles, scattered across windows, burning through RAM. Every tab fights for attention. Grouped, searchable, and calm. Detached tabs use zero memory while staying one click away. Short reads on browser productivity, tab management, and getting your focus back. Lost your Chrome tab groups? They're probably hidden, not gone. Check these three settings to get them back — plus how to stop losing them for good. Lost your Chrome tabs? Restore them in seconds with keyboard shortcuts, history, or crash recovery — then learn how to save tab groups so it never happens again. Everything…from uncluttr.net

  • Hey HN, Henry here from Cactus. We open-sourced Needle, a 26M parameter function-calling (tool use) model. It runs at 6000 tok/s prefill and 1200 tok/s decode on consumer devices. We were always frustrated by the little effort made towards building agentic models that run on budget phones, so we conducted investigations that led to an observation: agentic experiences are built upon tool calling, and massive models are overkill for it. Tool calling is fundamentally retrieval-and-assembly (match query to tool name, extract argument values, emit JSON), not reasoning. Cross-attention…
