Updates on Oppye

I gave up on the prompt builder and the actual chat

What it does

A tool for those who do online marketing and advertising. You import a banner and resize it to all the sizes your campaign needs. We gave up on the prompt builder and AI chat. We want to focus on the main function that we want to capitalize on, the smart resizer. How is it different from other similar tools? 1. Preserves the brand identity. 2. Performs intelligent recomposition, not just crop or stretch. 3. Respects every rule imposed by the channel where the ad will run (Meta, Google etc...)

Resize one approved creative into every ad format without breaking the design. Oppye re-composes your visual for Meta, Google Display, LinkedIn, Stories, and more — no cropping or stretching — or generate the first creative from a prompt.

Upload the finished PNG or JPG you already approved — no PSD, Figma file, or editable template needed. Oppye rebuilds it for Meta, Google Display, LinkedIn, and Stories. Two real screen recordings: one creative re-composed across ad sizes, and a Performance Max set in the making. Real screen recordings of the product. Every output lands on the whiteboard for your review before export. Oppye is built for the production work that happens after a hero visual is approved. If there is no hero visual yet, it can generate one first. Already have an approved key visual from Photoshop, Figma, Illustrator, Canva, or another design tool? Export it flat, upload it, and Oppye re-composes the layout for…from oppye.com

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
