In plain words

VETS is a volunteer hour tracking system built for animal rescue organizations like the SPCA. It replaces manual paper sign-in sheets and hand calculations by allowing volunteer coordinators to digitally record and manage volunteer hours, track annual requirements, and process awards. Originally created for a local SPCA with 1,000 active volunteers, the system has logged over 67,000 hour entries and serves approximately 3,000 volunteers, streamlining what was previously a labor-intensive monthly administrative task.
