What it does
Vibebattle is a 2-8 players vibecoding game. 2 modes: creative -> text subject reproduction -> website target You have X minutes and Y prompts then there is a voting round.
Multiplayer game: race to build the best landing page using AI prompts on a random subject.
Everyone gets the same absurd subject . You each prompt an AI to build it a landing page. Then you vote on whose is the best. That's the whole game. Jump into a friend's room. They'll have shared a 6-character code. Make a new room, invite up to 7 friends, and pick the rules. You're thefrom vibebattle.io

Claude 22023 · claude.ai · ▲248It was quite interesting to vibe code this artifact. I learned some basic ideas about commitment scheme and hash cryptography in the half and hour spent on this. One of the few times vibe coding left me feeling enriched rather than drained. What do you think?

This year the deadline is May 1 and you can submit your games until then. There's $35,000 in prizes with the Gold prize being $20,000. Let me know what you think! -Pieter

Homebrew 6.0.0▲1,481Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!

Hi HN! I was super frustrated at apps like tiktok and wechat preventing me from saving or downloading the animated gifs, so I made a little tool to turn a screen recording into a slack-sized emoji. Hope you get some value from this!
