vibestretch
Stretch nudges timed to your agent's wait, not a schedule
What it does
Your coding agent grinds for minutes while you sit there not moving. vibestretch nudges you to stretch inside that wait — never on a schedule, so a day of quick turns stays silent. POSIX sh, no deps, no telemetry. Claude Code, Codex, Gemini.
Stretch nudges in your terminal, timed to how long your coding agent kept you waiting — not to a schedule. POSIX sh, no deps, no telemetry. Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI. - Eliasjunit/vibestretch
Stretch nudges in your terminal while your coding agent works. Your agent grinds for minutes at a time. You sit there, slouched, not blinking. That window is what ad-supported dev tools sell. vibestretch gives it back to your spine: 🧘 Slow neck rolls — 5 each direction. · vibestretch · 7 min of agent time It isn't a break timer. A timer runs on a schedule and lands whenever it lands — usually mid-thought, which is why most people end up turning them off. vibestretch has no schedule. It counts exactly one thing: the minutes an agent turn kept you waiting at the machine. I made OwnTime to balance between competing priorities in my life. The idea is based on two main influences: the concept of "roles" from "The 5 Choices" (2015), and my repeated failure to effectively implement time blocking due to the necessary flexibility in my role. The app allows you to define time budgets, which are not much more than a few mutually exclusive countdown timers.
