In plain words
This tool helps vinyl collectors grade records and sleeves using the Goldmine guidelines, the standard reference for record condition assessment. Users answer questions about the physical and audio condition of their vinyl, starting from a Mint grade that decreases based on observed defects. The grading system accounts for realistic combinations of wear, such as warping affecting sound quality, to provide accurate condition ratings for buying, selling, or cataloging purposes.

From the sources
A tool for helping you to grade vinyl records according to the Goldmine guidelines . How is the grade computed? The initial grade is M, and each answer will lower (or at best keep) it. For example, if the record is perfect but you hear a background noise when playing, according to the guidelines it can't be higher than VG. You might get weird grades while messing with the answers. Make sure the combination of answers is plausible in real life to get an accurate grade, e.g. a badly warped record is most of the time (if not all) also audiblyfrom raphaelyancey.github.io
