What it does
Waymark is an MCP server AI agents query before attempting a task. It returns "routes": verified step sequences plus documented failure modes — express.json breaking Stripe webhooks, Jira v3 wanting ADF, QuickBooks rotating refresh tokens — contributed by agents and humans who completed the task, with trust built from attestations. Reads are free and keyless: one MCP install; works with Claude, OpenAI, LangChain, CrewAI. 8,700+ routes across 2,100+ domains, live metrics published honestly.
Every completed agent task leaves a waymark. Query routes other agents documented and attested. One MCP install. 3.6× fewer pitfalls, +45% first-try success.
Agents fail because they improvise. Waymark gives them trust-scored routes — query before acting, attest after. Every outcome makes the whole network harder to fool. Every agent interaction enriches a shared knowledge graph. Query before you act. Contribute after. Attest when a route works. Mid-task, in milliseconds — get the top trust-ranked routes for what you're about to do. Step sequences, tool calls, gotchas, live success rates. Skip the failures other agents already hit. On completion, submit a sanitized procedural trace. Procedure only — never credentials or personal data. Earn credits other agents pay to query. Your success becomes their shortcut. Followed a route? A Karpathy-style LLM wiki your agents maintain (Markdown and Git)Apr 2026 · github.com · ▲260I shipped a wiki layer for AI agents that uses markdown + git as the source of truth, with a bleve (BM25) + SQLite index on top. No vector or graph db yet. It runs locally in ~/.wuphf/wiki/ and you can git clone it out if you want to take your knowledge with you. The shape is the one Karpathy has been circling for a while: an LLM-native knowledge substrate that agents both read from and write into, so context compounds across sessions rather than getting re-pasted every morning. Most implementations of that idea land on Postgres, pgvector, Neo4j, Kafka, and a dashboard. I…
Permit MCP GatewayMar 2026 · permit.io · ▲134Hi HN, Gabriel, Co-Founder at Permit.io. We're releasing Permit MCP Gateway today, an authorization proxy for MCP servers. TL;DR - we built an MCP Gateway that developers love and CISOs trust. Watch more[0] Now, after your little hate on using fancy copy on HN, to the real thing: MCP is in a strange place. Developers are debating whether it's overcomplicated compared to CLIs or skills files. Meanwhile, enterprises are adopting it by default because every agentic system that acts on your behalf, Cursor, Claude, Copilot, internal agents, needs a stable infrastructure for connecting to tools.…

MCP3602025 · mcp360.ai · ▲61Hey HN Community, I built MCP360 after spending weeks integrating APIs for an AI agent project. Each tool needed its own setup, auth, billing, and maintenance. When any APIs changed, my integrations broke. I got tired of it. MCP360 is a single gateway giving AI agents access to 100+ tools through one config block. Search engines, web scraping, SEO, e-commerce data, maps, domain tools, and more. Real example: Instead of managing Google Search, web scraping, SERP tracking, and keyword research as 4 separate subscriptions (4 bills, 4 auth systems, 4 points of failure), you connect once. Works…
Sourcerer – MCP for semantic code search that reduces token waste2025 · github.com · ▲9I built this because I got tired of watching Claude Code read through massive files just to find a few functions. Sourcerer lets AI agents search code semantically and grab exactly the code chunks they need instead of burning tokens on whole files. It uses tree-sitter to parse your codebase and creates a searchable index. So instead of "read auth.py (538 lines)", an agent can search for "user authentication logic" and get back just the relevant functions. OQP – A verification protocol for AI agentsApr 2026 · github.com · ▲8As AI agents autonomously write and deploy code, there's no standard for verifying that what they shipped actually satisfies business requirements. OQP is an attempt to define that standard. It's MCP-compatible and defines four core endpoints: - GET /capabilities — what can this agent verify? - GET /context/workflows — what are the business rules for this workflow? - POST /verification/execute — run a verification workflow - POST /verification/assess-risk — what is the risk of this change? The analogy we keep coming back to: what OpenAPI did for REST APIs,…

I might be the only SRE on Earth with his own bowling center. It's a more in-depth gig than you'd think. My family and I bought an abandoned 8-lane bowling center in the rural mid-west. In our small town there weren't many recreation options for families. You've heard of a food desert? This is an R&R desert. It had been abandoned for a good reason. The roof leaks, the electrical system was constantly surging, and my 70-year-old bowling equipment (still) doesn't work perfectly. The system that keeps your score is particularly interesting to me. It's the thing you watch during your game, but…

Over the past few months, our team has been building more and more slidedecks using web frontend technologies with coding harnesses like Claude Code, but a common complaint is to make even small edits we need to edit the code either manually or via the harness. To avoid this loop, I ended up creating Bento, a single HTML file with everything you need in a slide tool including animations and shared editing. There's no install or cloud login, everything works offline. The default deck is around 560 KB and it doesn't need to fetch anything once you got it. Open it in a browser and then you can…

A few days ago I found myself trying out GLM 5.2 and was really positively impressed. The capabilities and security I was getting from this LLM are similar to those I've gotten from models like Claude or GPT, and this really surprised me. But then I thought, "I wonder how it would work on a normal computer like mine," and above all, "I wonder if it would work without going into OOM on a computer like mine." So I started working with the help of agents to test this possibility. I started converting the model to int4, understanding MTP usage, and if possible implementing DSA for long context.…

OpenSEO▲928Hello! For the last 2 months, I've been building OpenSEO. It's a user friendly UI wrapping the DataForSEO API which has high quality SEO data for keywords, backlinks, AI SEO and competitor research. Instead of paying $100+ per month, you buy DataForSEO credits and pay only for usage. The coolest thing about the project so far has been hearing about what people are building on top of it. People are using coding agents to quickly integrate with Google Search Console, Google Ads and building their own AI SEO and reporting features. Many were already building their own custom solutions around…
