We built an anonymous Reddit-replacement for healthcare providers
We have been working on the Charting Chaos podcast (currently only available on Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@chartingchaos?_t=8d7RtZh51Rq&_r=1) and encountered some traction. We have been building the Charting Chaos forum to give a place for healthcare providers to connect with each other in a private, verified way. The idea is that your license number is required when creating an account so we can verify asynchronously that users are genuine, healthcare workers. Let us know what you think!
In plain words
Charting Chaos Forum is an anonymous discussion platform designed for healthcare providers to connect and share experiences with verified peers. Users register with their license number, which is verified asynchronously to ensure only genuine healthcare workers can join. The platform grew from the Charting Chaos podcast and offers a private space for medical professionals to discuss workplace challenges and insights without their identities being publicly exposed.

Heya HN, I've been working on a reddit-like platform as my primary side project for the last few years. Doing a (very) soft launch today, mainly because I want to use it to encourage discussion of alternatives. How non.io works: 1. Free to browse, paid to interact. 2. Minimum subscription is $2 (though you can choose more). I take $1 to run the servers, everything left gets split evenly between everything you upvote that month. It's a simple model, but I hope it's a better one than the freemium model we've been relying on for the last few years. Fundamentally I feel like any ad-supported…
- USUsing stylometry to find HN users with alternate accounts2022 · stylometry.net · ▲676
Author here. This site lets you put in a username and get the users with the most similar writing style to that user. It confirmed several users who I suspected were alts and after informally asking around has identified abandoned accounts of people I know from many years ago. I made this site mostly to show how easy this is and how it can erode online privacy. If some guy with a little bit of Python, and $8 to rent a decent dedicated server for a day can make this, imagine what a company with millions of dollars and a couple dozen PhD linguists could do. Here's Paul Graham:…

Hi HN! We're a bootstrapped team of 4 and have been building Radiopaper for around 16 months alongside other full-time, part-time, and consulting jobs. I wanted to highlight a couple of the unique characteristics of Radiopaper that may not be immediately apparent when browsing https://radiopaper.com/explore * It's possible to interact with Radiopaper entirely by email, and never log-in interactively. The notification emails contain context that explains that if you reply to the email, your message will be published on https://radiopaper.com * The key mechanism that…
- IBI Built a Reddit-style Bluesky client – still rough, but open to ideas2025 · threadsky.app · ▲127
I’ve been messing around with Bluesky for a while, and one thing I really missed was a proper way to browse discussions in a structured, Reddit-like way specially myself being daily reddit user. So, I ended up building a Reddit-like client for Bluesky that scratches that itch: Threadsky.app It pulls in trending topics, lets you explore conversations with a threaded view (so no more getting lost in replies), and even allows users to create channels with customizations, basically, like subreddits but on Bluesky. That said, this is still pretty barebones, and there’s a lot to improve. I really…
- CECensus – Export for data warehouses2020 · ▲34
Hello Hacker News! We're a team of YC founders (Meldium W13, Draft S11, TapEngage S11) launching something new (https://www.getcensus.com). How many times has your business team asked you to generate yet another CSV file, write a ”quick report” in SQL, or send some custom data to a terrible API (looking at you Marketo)? We’ve built a product that connects directly to your data warehouse and syncs into apps like Salesforce, Customer.io and even Google Sheets. In fact, your business teams won’t even need to rely on engineering to manage all these pipelines. The tech stack for…
- IMI made a worldwide sexual life dashboard2025 · worldsexmap.com · ▲62
The idea is to share data-based insights about sexual life I’ve worked in SexEd startups, and it’s wild that humanity doesn’t have this data. Most major academic studies have focused on sex primarily from a health and reproduction perspective, leaving many important and interesting questions unexplored (for many reasons) To promote transparency, the anonymous data will be open-sourced, allowing researchers, students and anyone interested to analyze it
