In plain words

This is an open-source video and voice communication tool built with HTML5 that works as an alternative to Skype. Launched in 2014, it allows users to make calls and communicate directly through a web browser without requiring a separate application download. The project is open-source, meaning developers can view, modify, and contribute to the code. It's designed for anyone looking for a browser-based communication option instead of traditional desktop software.
