Xsaviour

Cleanup and Repair Your Xcode Project File

Xsaviour launched on June 28, 2019 with 13 votes, #752 of 2,757 launches that month and more than 50% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 7 years on.

What it does

Xsaviour find and fixes common issues in Xcode project files. It can reorganise your file system to match the structure in Xcode. It can find lost files. It can delete unused files. There's a lot that can go wrong  😀.

Download Xsaviour by BRIDGETECH SOLUTIONS LIMITED on the App Store. See screenshots, ratings and reviews, user tips, and more apps like Xsaviour.

In spite of bad ratings, I decided to give the app a try and paid for the annual subscription to make it usable. Tried it on a live SwiftUI app our team’s developing, and it flagged about 50 issues. Great! First, I selected all, ran its auto actions, got a “something went horribly wrong” alert. OK, then I selected the first (dead references). This action ran, but immediately broke the project (it removed watchOS assets incorrectly). So then I tried a simple one (assets organized in non-Finder groups). It botched this too, deleting a dozen files instead of moving them, and randomly renaming a file for no reason, again breaking build. Just unable. In spite of bad ratings, I decided to give…from apps.apple.com

Hi there! During last time we (me and my friend) were building an app to clean various stuff after Xcode. I was fed up as a developer that Apple related things load my drive and I need hundreds of gigabytes just to do my job. It's live now on Mac App Store and we'll be glad to hear your feedback: https://apps.apple.com/ua/app/cleano/id6469460523 Features - Simulators cleanup. It's a correct cleanup via 'simctl' so you even don't need to restart Xcode for it to take effect - SPM repos cache. Swift PM stores github repos for packages separately and never removes…

Built this after repeatedly running into “Disk is full” on macOS with no clear explanation. Started as a cleanup tool for dev environments (Xcode, Docker, node_modules), but the harder problem turned out to be understanding what’s actually taking space. macOS groups a lot of this into “System Data”, which isn’t very actionable. Recently, local AI tools made this worse. Model files and caches (Ollama, Hugging Face, Whisper, etc.) grow silently and are spread across different locations. The goal is to make disk usage more transparent before deciding what to remove. Would appreciate feedback,…

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…
