Yado
Claude Code & Codex on your phone, laptop closed
What it does
Yado is an iOS app that lets you use Claude Code and Codex from your phone, without keeping your laptop on. You start a task, lock your phone, and get notified when it’s done. You get a remote machine allocated to you, log in to Claude or Codex, and you’re coding with AI from your phone. It comes with both a chat, and a terminal interface as well as live previews to test changes before shipping. And the best part: it works with your own Claude or ChatGPT plan and usage limits.
Yado is a mobile app that lets you use Claude Code and Codex from your phone, without keeping your laptop on. Live your life, keep shipping — chat, terminal, and live preview, on your own Claude or ChatGPT plan.
A mobile app to use Claude Code and Codex on your phone, without keeping your laptop on. Real Claude Code or Codex behind a chat and a terminal. Not API calls or Agent SDK. Tokens stay on your iPhone. Your box dies 72h after you stop. Log in with your Claude or ChatGPT account. Yado runs it, you keep your plan. Sign up with GitHub, link your Claude account, your machine is up. In both cases it's the real Claude Code under the hood, even in chat mode. Tokens are stored encrypted, so what you connect once stays connected. Hey, I’m Mehdi. Married, father of 1 (soon 2), I’m aiming at being the best husband and father I can be. Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
