What it does

Hide AI-related posts in your LinkedIn feed (ChatGPT, LLMs, and more). - drakvyn/zen-feed-ai

ZenFeed AI is a browser extension for LinkedIn that hides AI-related posts, AI-generated content and machine learning noise from your feed using a blur overlay with manual reveal. Matching is case-insensitive; Unicode “fancy” Latin (e.g. mathematical italics) is folded to ASCII before checks. Custom lines from the popup are substring matches (one phrase per line), except a line that is exactly ai or ia , which uses whole-word matching like the built-ins below. This list targets common AI, LLM and generative AI terms frequently found in low-signal LinkedIn posts. LinkedIn feeds are increasingly saturated with repetitive AI content, generative AI posts and low-value machine learning…from github.com

Hi All, since I am consistently overwhelmed with all the all the ai/gpt news on the hn front page I built this simple extension to filter out such articles and show them on the extension popup if I'm in the mood to read. I am interested in the topic but just tired of reading the similar discussions (local models, llama on mac, ai taking away our jobs, etc) all the time. Every few days I search for topics on hn.algolia.com and go over any exciting development. Ironically, since this was the first time I built an extension chat-gpt helped build 90% of the extension since . Also once…

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

  • Hey HN, Henry here from Cactus. We open-sourced Needle, a 26M parameter function-calling (tool use) model. It runs at 6000 tok/s prefill and 1200 tok/s decode on consumer devices. We were always frustrated by the little effort made towards building agentic models that run on budget phones, so we conducted investigations that led to an observation: agentic experiences are built upon tool calling, and massive models are overkill for it. Tool calling is fundamentally retrieval-and-assembly (match query to tool name, extract argument values, emit JSON), not reasoning. Cross-attention…
