I have been running my side project for about over a year now and it has finally logged 1 million votes! The site gets on average, for the past 3 months, 600 users a day with an average bounce rate of 47%. Majority of the traffic comes through StumbleUpon. We launched our site - GetInspired365.com exactly 10 weeks ago. In that time we've had 36,000 users, of which 30,000 have been unique. We've also just broken 100,000 page views and the average duration on the site is just shy of 2 minutes. We started very slowly and in our first 6 weeks only had 130 users registered (email addresses given to us to receive daily doses of inspiration) and averaged around ~ 100 users a day coming to the site. But now, we are averaging around ~ 1000 users a day coming to the site and have just broken the 500 mark for number of users registered on to our system.…

I was lucky enough to have my site trending on Friday (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=25872922). It’s an icon site that lists open source icons. I wanted to share some stats on the results after 3 days. Worth noting was that I submitted it on a Friday morning (at which point I went for a walk and a coffee; eek). - 24,997 page views. I (embarrassingly) didn’t have GA set up when I first submitted it, so this is probably missing a few hundred page views - 21 “feedback” emails (half of which were spam). This morning I've submitted our project to HN. http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=4099054 Got pretty helpful feedback. But that wasn't the only thing. 478 people requested invite out of 755. 63% conversion rate. Almost 9K unique visitor visited our website. I recently launched my first web app, polls.io. It's a super simple polling app that doesn't require sign-up. In my opinion, this is the most simple/social polling app out there. There are certainly many similar apps out there, but I think this one stands out as it straight-forward and doesn't have any unnecessary "mess" getting in the way of the actual poll. I don’t consider myself a designer or a programmer, but I wanted to make something simple like this for fun, and now I figure I might as well have some fun promoting it too. The idea is basically a rehash of Google Profiles, except with a slightly different pitch. So let me know what you think. A couple of specific questions I have: Does this actually work as a minimum viable product? Is that feedback tab on the side an effective way to collect feedback from regular users?
