For fun this Valentine's Day, a couple buddies and I decided to play around with the idea of digital Valentines. We cranked out the project in the month of January as a "nights & weekends" project. www.schmeebs.com I built this site in two days. I tried to make it a fusion of Twitter + Digg in that people will be able to follow certain "domains" of news then be able to see popular stuff from there. Its as real time as it can be at this point. Would welcome any thoughts on it!

I've been working on an app in my spare time for about the past 6 months in between my day job and taking care of my 10 month old daughter. Hi, I spent the last couple of months developing OurClubFundraiser(http://www.ourclubfundraiser.com) and launched it about two weeks ago.I would love to get some feedback from the HN community on how I could improve the site and tweak the concept. Since launching I have found that: 1) I am not getting enough visits(Average around 5 a day) 2) Any of the visits I do get are not converting. Hi guys, We have just built Ultimategiftlists.com My girlfriend keeps asking me what I want for Christmas. I also need to buy stuff for my nephew. Hi, looking for your feedback on my first public project. The Idea: Every lurepet (big picture) that you see on the site has some "genes" and is drawn according to them. After the best lurepets are selected they can be bred to make children looking like their parents. This is going to be repeated to create more and more beautiful lurepets.
