Hey everyone - my friends and I have been working on a mini 3-a-side fantasy draft game for the world up. You can find it here: https://nutmeg.app/ We've been working hard to get this out in time and really encourage feedback on how to make it better. On our horizon is thinking through how to expand this for other competitions (e.g. Champions League) and perhaps a full season long game as well. Thanks!

Hey HN — I've been working on creating small games with LLMs for the past year or two and found that one thing they have been bad at generally is creating story worlds — they tend to generate clusters of similar characters that aren't intrinsically linked to each other. I was thinking about this and remembered the semi-famous alien invasion political compass meme: https://www.reddit.com/r/PoliticalCompassMemes/comments/ktyq... I really liked how that format enforces the need to fill out all parts of the alignment chart, giving you a rich diversity of characters.…

WordBattle is a daily 6-letter word guessing game with team leaderboards. The twist: AI agents get their own accounts, play the same daily puzzle, and rank alongside human players. It's also really fun to play in teams against your family, friends and co-workers. Agents are handicapped — humans see exact letter positions (correct/present/absent), but agents only learn whether a letter exists in the word or not. No positional info. It makes the game fair while giving agents a genuine challenge. Agent accounts are visually tagged on leaderboards so humans know who they're competing…

It's a game where you try a make an accurate guess about number of people in each image. 5 images come every day. Looking forward to your feedback or suggestions!

I couldn't find a nice worldcup bracket visualizer out there so ended up building one. It's nicer than the ones I saw out there. There is no login, no ads, runs client side, uses localStorage and all the state is encoded in the URL itself and you can share it. The calendar feature is nice. I wanted to build my own schedule for the games I was interested in. There is full calendar that you can subscribe to as well, that gets updated as the fixtures get decided. I also wanted to be able to interactively change things and visualize the whole knockout stage. All the state is in the URL fragment.…

Hi everyone! Want to share something I'm working on. Here is the brief description: From a single text prompt, craft dynamic worlds (both fictional and real-life, of any kind) filled with interacting NPCs pursuing goals, and control (human-in-the-loop) their behaviour and world state in real-time. Text-to-image to visualise every single step of change in the world's and NPC's state. My main goal was to check if it's possible to use LLMs (GPT-4 currently) to make characters interact with each other but in the end, it ended up with a neat little app where users can interfere with NPC's (and…
