So I came across this really cool new service that works like Instapaper for video, and thought I'd share it with HN. Just got my invite today and I've been LOVING it so far. It lets me discover videos, bookmark them and watch offline on my iPad or iPhone. (My hour long subway rides without internet aren't painful anymore. Phew)

Hey yall, I built this for my makerspace. We wanted to let each other borrow things, but also didn't want to put up a big shiny sign saying "hey everyone, my garage has a super fancy oscilloscope just sitting there" and also didn't want to necessarily always need to say yes to everything. One week ago, I launched a new directory, which is a curated list of useful and cool Mac apps and tools that are not available on the app store. Initially, I wasn't sure if it was a good idea, but I managed to create it in just one day. I started promoting it on Twitter and some communities, and although I got some views, I didn't make any sales. I always thought Google's Just a Line experiment[1] was crazy cool and recently wanted to revisit it. But it hadn't been updated in 7 years So I upgraded all of the dependencies (including the latest version of Swift 5), added SwiftLint and SwiftFormat, and got it (mostly) working again!
