So, you know how bigtech gives nearly unlimited credits for coding tools and in the same time put a huge admin whitelist of what commands are allowed? So, instead of becoming a 100x engineers, you (including me) simply become a multi-window-enter-clicker I build a tool to solve this. It works locally, using OCR finds the "run" (or any other label you put e.g. accept, allow, fetch etc. ) and just clicks this button. I’ve been working in DevOps and infrastructure for years (currently in the fintech/security space), and as I started playing with AI agents, I noticed a scary pattern. Most "safety" mechanisms rely on system prompts ("Please don't do X") or flimsy Python logic inside the agent itself. If we treat agents as autonomous employees, giving them root access and hoping they listen to instructions felt insane to me. Hey HN! Thank you for all the support and feedback on my original submission 2 months ago. I've been improving the backend using a MCTS/AlphaZero approach and it's currently producing much better results. My long term goal is to allow users to manage multiple projects, deployed autonomously, both from scratch and by making continual updates all prompted with natural language. The cost of each project has been lowered to $9 as performance with smaller models has improved (I migrated from Claude-3-Opus to gemini-1.5-flash). Thanks for checking it out!

I was tired of setting up my coding environment from scratch whenever I switched machines, and I wanted easy access to Goose AI (an OpenAI-powered coding assistant) without complex configuration. We've recently made our product, ozma.io, open-source. It's a CRM/ERP platform for building enterprise systems. We believe that AI will soon handle implementing most of the boilerplate and UIs in the specialized business software. Just look at what lovable.dev does today! Soon products which make creating business software easier for developers will become obsolete, or transform into "libraries" to be used by AIs.
