Products that do what A streamed, plaintext personal website (Rust) does
It's just streamed plaintext, you can curl it! It pulls my location from a shortcut on my phone that runs when I open any app (which also updates my GitHub location! https://github.com/malted). All the other stats are live.

Disco is tiny app I built over the weekend to try and make browsing git better. Inspired heavily by Tower, it also adds pull request integration and is run in the browser. It's only for public repositories. Checkout: http://disco.88cartell.com/#/rails/rails http://disco.88cartell.com/#/emberjs/ember.js http://disco.88cartell.com/#/angular/angular.js

Hello I'm Jack, I was previously a Site Reliability Engineer and i've been working on monitro.dev which makes log monitoring simple for individuals or small teams. It allows you to easily forward any logs to multiple channels such as Slack, Discord & Telegram. The events are also viewable though the admin dashboard and are easily filterable. Currently there is only an NPM package with javascript / typescript support but i have plans to expand this to other languages such as Python, Rust etc. The package has many options, one of them is forwarding any uncaught exception and as an event…

There are many commercial YouTube summarizers, but I couldn't find an open-source one that truly fit my needs. So, I built YouTubeTLDR: a simple, self-hostable solution that uses the Gemini API without much bloat. I went with a synchronous approach + threading which was a nice break from Tokio. It is Bring Your Own Key, but the key is sent to the server for each request, which is something I might revise in the future. There is a demo on https://youtubetldr.onrender.com/

Meet shuttle, an open source, Rust-native platform for deploying apps with zero infra hassle. Built by a distributed YC-backed team. In order to deploy your app, all it takes is one annotation on your main function and you're good to go! At this point, we support most of the major Rust web frameworks such as; * Axum * Rocket * Tide * Poem * Tower And we’ve recently added support for Serenity, a Rust library for the Discord API — so you can even build & deploy Discord bots, for free. Our repository has a couple of examples per framework/library enabling you to get started in under 5…

Hello HN. This is my first webapp. It works like a pastebin, in which you can visually keep track of the changes you and others make to it. I was a little reluctant about posting it here because I'm not sure it meets the HN quality standards, but, as a beginner, I would really appreciate to have some feedback and/or tips. The url is: http://srctree.net/ An example of usage: http://srctree.net/1 Thanks!
