I'm so tired of all that crappy AI content that is published every day. It's becoming way harder to find genuine creators on the internet because they are being overshadowed with massive amount of AI-driven material. I think I'm not the only one who thinks like that and that is why I've published "Is Generated" it's a community based Chrome Extensions where users can report, vote and block the content they suspect is AI-generated. Together, we can take back control and make the internet a better place for authentic creators!

Hey HN I built a free AI SEO app called seoby.ai. I'm launching it on ProductHunt, Reddit and a few other places on Monday (19th February). It's 100% free, and has some pretty neat tools: 1. AI Content Detector: Find out if your content was written by a human or generated by AI. 2. AI Outline Generator: Remove writer's block and generate SEO-friendly outlines for your articles, blog posts, and landing pages. 3. AI SEO Topic Cluster Generator: Generate SEO-optimized topic clusters for your website and get better search engine visibility. I would love feedback/ideas/suggestions of…

Inspired by the nytimes post "Luddites don't want your upvotes", and presumably being a Luddite myself, I have used uBlock to block my Karma score at the top of the page. I found myself (on old account) reflexively checking my Karma score and found myself responding emotionally to it. I do not like this. Positive reinforcement can be a dangerous thing! And negative reinforcement make me feel a bit crap. I'm going to post what I think is the right thing, votes be damned! However I do see the use of downvotes for getting rid of stupid comments and spam as a good thing. I see the use of…

I haven't seen anything like this so I decided to build it in a weekend. How it works: You see a bunch of things pulled from Wikipedia displayed on cards. You ask yes or no questions to figure out which card is the secret article. The AI model has access to the image and wiki text and it's own knowledge to answer your question. Happy to have my credits burned for the day but I'll probably have to make this paid at some point so enjoy. I found it's not easy to get cheap+fast+good responses but the tech is getting there. Most of the prompts are running through Groq infra or hitting a cache…

Hi HN, I built CountermarkAI, a lightweight anti-scraping & bot-detection tool for content creators and website owners. It’s designed to help protect your work from unauthorized scraping and AI training, that repurposed your work without permission. How It Works: Use Hashtag – Creators add a unique hashtag to their content as a declaration of ownership. Protect Website – For those running your own sites, simply add a small snippet to your . The protect.js script works asynchronously by sending metadata from every page load back to our servers, logging requests, and flagging known AI-training…

So I've been obsessed with a weird question for the past 6 months, what happens to SEO when everyone starts asking ChatGPT for recommendations instead of Googling? The answer, apparently, is chaos. And maybe opportunity? I built FirstClick because I noticed something strange. My previous startup was getting zero traffic from AI assistants, but our competitor (objectively worse product, sorry not sorry) was getting mentioned by Claude and Perplexity constantly. It drove me crazy. So I reverse engineered why. Turns out there's a whole new game being played and most founders don't even know it…

Hey HN, I wanted to share something I’ve been working on: *RAG-Guard*, a document AI that’s all about privacy. It’s an experiment in combining Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with AI-powered question answering, but with a twist — your data stays yours. Here’s the idea: you can upload contracts, research papers, personal notes, or any other documents, and RAG-Guard processes everything locally in your browser. Nothing leaves your device unless you explicitly approve it. ### How It Works - * Zero-Trust by Design*: Every step happens in your browser until you say otherwise. - * Local…

Built StopX after struggling with the limitations of traditional blocklist-based filters. Most existing solutions rely on static URL databases that are constantly outdated and easily bypassed. Our approach uses proprietary WebShield™ technology that combines: Real-time AI image recognition for visual content analysis Contextual URL pattern matching beyond simple domain blocking Cross-device synchronization with encrypted settings sync Military-grade bypass protection with stealth mode operation The interesting technical challenge was achieving 99.7% accuracy while maintaining sub-100ms…

Hey HN, Since the launch of GPTs, I’ve struggled with integrating vast, up-to-date knowledge into a custom GPT and embedding it into websites and apps. After months of trial and error, we’ve developed an AI Search & Knowledge Assistant that solves this problem. Over the weekend, I built a demo assistant for Stripe that provides accurate answers, useful links, images in responses, cites sources, and keeps a thread history of your conversations. Here’s what’s included: - 3,700+ public documents full of useful info - 105+ million characters of rich knowledge - Powered by the ChatGPT-4o model…

Quick Information Lookup – Effortlessly locate key details on pages such as developer documentation, car forums, and beyond. 3. I'm not going to lie to you, HN, this is just a stylesheet distributed as a browser extension because it's the easiest way for me both use it and keep it updated on all my browsers and devices. But if you want to hide AI Overviews on desktop and mobile and have someone keeping an eye out for new variants (which is the perfect word for Google finding new ways to infect their search results with them) and hiding them in a timely manner, I'm your man. Google seem to be continually adding new variants - in the last 12 hours I've pushed releases to hide AI Overviews now appearing as sections in…

I wanted to find a product idea to build. "Build things people want," right? So I thought, why not literally find people saying what they want? I wrote a script to collect thousands of Reddit posts where people are looking for a solution or complaining about a problem. Then I used GPT to filter out the noise and score each one based on how viable the idea seemed. Threw together a simple search interface so anyone can explore them. I was planning to build a more advanced paid version of this, but figured I'd share the raw version first to see if it's actually useful to anyone.

Hello HN community! I'm excited to share a project I've been working on: an AI-powered Cookie Policy Generator.
